Refund Policy
This is a courtesy translation. In case of discrepancies, the German version prevails.
Try it for free first
revotly has a permanently free plan. It includes every slide type and all three game modes — peer instruction included; Pro essentially lifts the quantity limits. So you can try the application in class at your leisure before paying anything. We genuinely recommend it: a refund is the second-best outcome, the right decision before buying is the best one.
Statutory right of withdrawal (14 days)
Consumers in Switzerland, the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days and receive a full refund. This covers one-off purchases and the first payment of a subscription, but not subsequent automatic renewals (exception for the United Kingdom: there, an annual subscription starts a fresh period with every renewal).
You exercise the withdrawal directly with Paddle, as Paddle is your contracting party for the purchase: via the link in your confirmation e-mail, in the customer portal (inside the application under «Account» → «Manage subscription»), or via paddle.net. Customers in the EU have a dedicated withdrawal button in the customer portal during the period.
For completeness: for digital services, the statutory right of withdrawal may lapse if you expressly agree at checkout that the service be made available immediately and you then use it. That consent is collected in Paddle's checkout. For those cases, our goodwill rule below applies in addition.
Our goodwill rule: 14 days, no reason needed
Independently of the statutory right of withdrawal: if within 14 days of your purchase you find that revotly Pro is not for you, write to info@revotly.com. We will arrange the refund with Paddle. You do not need to give a reason.
Renewals you did not intend
Automatic renewals are generally non-refundable — so please cancel in good time if you do not wish to continue. But we know a renewal can slip past you: if you get in touch within 14 days of the charge and have not used Pro since the renewal, we will refund the amount as a gesture of goodwill.
Technical problems
If something does not work as described, please contact us first at info@revotly.com. Most problems can be fixed quickly, and we are grateful for every report. If we cannot remedy a material defect within a reasonable time, we will refund the unused portion of the current term pro rata.
How a refund is processed
Payment is handled by Paddle as your contracting party for the purchase; we cannot refund you directly. Refunds are normally returned to the same payment method within 14 days of approval. Paddle reviews each request; where we have agreed to a refund under this policy, we instruct Paddle accordingly.
What happens to your access
- After a refund, Pro ends immediately and the account falls back to the Free plan. Your quizzes, slides and images are kept; the Free plan's limits apply again to new content.
- After an ordinary cancellation without a refund, Pro remains usable until the end of the period you paid for.
Chargebacks
If there is a problem, please contact us or Paddle first rather than asking your bank to reverse the payment. A chargeback leads to access being suspended while the matter is investigated and creates unnecessary work on both sides. The direct route is almost always faster.
Abuse
In cases of obvious abuse — such as repeated purchase-and-refund cycles — the goodwill rules described above do not apply. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
